Big Changes Coming Soon!

With a vision to create the Central Valley’s premier high volume low-cost spay/neuter clinic, we are happy to announce we are building a state-of-the art facility anticipated to open in 2020! Renovations to our current on-site hospital will allow us to offer daily low-cost spays/neuters, vaccinations, routine dental care, basic lab services, and microchipping for your pets!

You might be asking: why now? Since 1951, we have been the City of Fresno’s contracted animal control service provider. When the City of Fresno Animal Control Services contract went out to bid in early 2019, we used it as an opportunity to thoughtfully re-evaluate our direction. Our Board of Directors and leadership developed a four-pronged roadmap for the future of CCSPCA focusing on:
– Humane Investigations
– Education Outreach
– Spay/Neuter Services
– Remaining an open-door shelter

Our mission remains the same: we are focused on the health and well-being of the animals in our community.

A capital campaign, launching today, will help raise the funds necessary for the facility improvements. We are not federally, state, or locally funded and do not receive aid from any national organization, including the ASPCA. (This is not to be confused with the $4 million City of Fresno animal control services contract. That money went directly toward the resources needed to fulfill the parameters of the contract.)
