Horse Update (Mison, Frank & Squeeky)

Horse Update (Mison, Frank & Squeeky)Several months ago, one of our officers seized a senior horse who had been neglected by her owners. Mison was brought to the CCSPCA underweight and malnourished. Since being in our care, she has gained several hundred pounds and is gradually returning to a healthy senior horse. Due to her age she cannot chew and digest hay, so therefore, is on a special diet. We are happy that she is gaining weight and is one step closer to finding a perfect home.

Frank and Squeeky are still looking for their forever homes. Frank has received 60 days of training from local trainer, Reed Helsel. Frank is a bay Thoroughbred gelding. He is halter, ground, and green broke and will require an experienced rider. Squeeky is a female, bay Quarter horse, looking for her forever home. She is very attentive and loves to “people” watch. She is very interested in what is going on in her surroundings. Squeeky is halter broke and ready to go with you today.

If you are interested in adopting Frank, Squeeky, or any of the horses at the CCSPCA, please contact our adoptions department at adoptions@ccpsca.com or 559-233-7722 ext. 116.
