The New Names for the Horses are…

The colt and filly both have their new names. The winning name for the colt, born on April 20th is Thorne!

We would like to thank the community for sharing all of their caring and creative name submissions. There were many great name submissions, the hat was certainly full of a variety to draw from! Now we will be able to work with him with his new name so he can respond when called. He really likes leaving his tongue hanging out almost as if to balance himself while he is running and jumping around getting used to his lanky long legs. Thorne loves to play “Ring around the Rosie” as he goes around and under his mom’s now slimming belly. It warmed our hearts to hear from so many nurturing and loving members of our community, thank you for the outpouring of support!

Our precious little Filly will dawn the name “Holly Berry“. Her mother, Holly, keeps a watchful eye on her, a good mother knows when their baby needs more attention. Holly Berry had a difficult birth and this sometimes makes it hard for growth to go smoothly. Holly and Holly Berry have now been moved over to a specialist’s office for ongoing special needs care. Holly Berry’s condition remains guarded and we are sharing all of the well wishes from the community with her and her mother. Today Holly Berry is one week old, please keep her in your thoughts and we will keep you updated on her condition.
