Snip N Chip Program

At the CCSPCA, we understand that people realize the importance to alter their animals. We also understand that many cannot afford the fees. The Snip N Chip (formally Spay Fresno) program has been revised and implemented for those people who want to prevent the cycle of unwanted animals, yet simply don’t have the means to.

According to the Humane Society of the United States, there are between eight and ten million cats and dogs entering American shelters every year. Four to five million of these animals are euthanized. This crisis is a direct result of animals left unaltered in our communities.

Our new Snip N Chip program is effective February 1, 2013. This program is targeted at low-income pet owners and offers spay and neuter services at low cost. The fees also include implanting a microchip. Some other new improvements to the program include making it easier for people to qualify for the program, expanding the geographic area to Madera and Visalia area residents, and increasing the number of household pets that can be qualified from two to four. If you qualify for the Snip N’ Chip program, the cost for these services is only $35 per pet.

If you are interested in qualifying for the Snip N Chip program, please contact our Desk Services Manager at (559) 233-7722 Ext. 107 or email snipnchip@ccspca.com.

Through our Snip N Chip program, we are giving back to both people and animals in our community.
